The AHA’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CP
The AHA’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
The AHA’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.
BLS is geared towards prehospital providers, like EMTs, paramedics, fire fighters, and in-facility hospital providers. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.
BLS RENEWAL COURSE OR BLS SKILLS SESSION. IF NOT RENEWING MUST COMPLETE ONLINE COURSE AT ELEARNING.HEART.ORG
This course is expected to take about 1.5 hours to complete the course.

Blended Learning (online portion, followed by Hands On Skills Session) Heartcode BLS uses a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities to teach students BLS knowledge and skills.
HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s BLS blended learning delivery method. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on skills session.

You will have to complete an online course at Elearning.Heart.org and Select ACLS and then Heartcode ACLS. You will need to complete an online course prior to coming to the hands on training course.
You Must have a current ACLS Provider Card from the American Heart Association to Renew your ACLS Provider Card.
